Consisting of a silver breast star with six main points, and six smaller points, with a multi faceted surface, the obverse with a central white enameled disc bearing the Royal Malay Crown with red enamels, inscribed Di Peliharakan Allah (By the Grace of Allah) in capitalized letters above and Pangkuan Negara (Defender of the Realm) in capitalized letters below, the reverse is plain,
