They twist to open and the wire thickness is about 1. 8mm at the wearing point. So your earholes have to be streched a little bit to wear these. These hoops show hallmarks on the front and they come with quite some patina. They will polish up nicely if desired so. We have been lucky to acquire a larger collection of these old and original berber hoops.
