Germany, Wehrmacht. A German Cross In Gold, With Case, By Otto Klein Auction enamelled and unenamelled badges(Deutsches Kreuz in Gold). Instituted 28 September 1941. (1941 1945 issue). Constructed of cupal with gilt and enamels, the obverse consisting of a double overlaid right pointed starburst pattern, with a central silvered disc overlaid by a black enameled mobile swastika, within a circular gilt laurel leaf wreath, wrapped in ribbon and joined together at the bottom by a plaque bearing a date of 1941, the reverse with a barrel hinge and tapering
