Germany, Federal Republic. A Luftwaffe Close Combat Clasp, Bronze Grade, 1957 Version Auction Archive (Militär-Maria-Theresien-Orden)(Luftwaffe Nahkampfspange in Bronze). Constructed of bronze, the obverse depicting a Luftwaffe eagle clutching a stick grenade and bayonet within a laurel wreath, flanked on each side by nine oak leaves, the reverse with a barrel hinge and horizontal pinback meeting a flat wire catch, unmarked, measuring 75. 92 mm (w) x 25. 06 mm (h), weighing 17. 1 grams, in extremely fine condition.
