1935 Texas Independence Silver Commemorative Half Dollar - NGC MS 66 T-54 1601 - PMG 64 EPQThis issue was struck in commemoration of the independence of Texas in 1836. The obverse features a large 5 pointed star situated behind an eagle while the reverse displays an allegorical winged Liberty flanked by the busts of General Sam Houston and Stephen Austin.
