Plants form a base clump of bluish green leaves from which rise the flower stalks, sometimes up to 7' tall. Clumps have a spread of 3' 4' and often naturalize by self seeding. Prefers full sun exposure in moist, rich soil but will tolerate a variety of soil conditions including clay. Pollinator friendly; seed heads
