One for a Black Grade Wound Badge, constructed of off white paper stock with multi coloured ink, named to Ankerstein as a Schtze of 8. Kompanie, Infanterie Regiment 172, issued in the field on 1 August 1942 for a single wound suffered on 1 July 1942, featuring the handwritten signature of an unidentified Hauptmann, measuring 140 mm (w) x 200
