Germany, Heer. A Set Of Smoke/Chemical Troops Oberstleutnant Shoulder Boards Auction Archive War Cross 1914 1st(Heer Schulterklappen fr Nebeltruppe). A mis matched set of Heer Smoke Chemical Troops Oberstleutnant shoulder boards, each constructed of cardboard reinforced Bordeaux red wool. Each board bears four bands of interwoven silver aluminum wire piping, and is pinned with a gilded rank pip. The reverse of each strap features an integrated strap. Both unmarked, the boards measure 40 mm (w) x 115 mm (l). One strap is slightly faded and demonstrates evidence
