Germany, Heer. A General der Infanterie Shoulder Board Republic of original ribbon with clasp EXTREME(Heer einzel Schulterklappe fr einen General der Infanterie). Constructed of red wool, topped by two lengths of gold bullion wire piping interwoven with a single length of silver aluminum wire piping, and pinned with two silvered pips, retaining an original gilded and pebbled button, unmarked, measuring 35 mm (w) x 105 mm (l), demonstrating moderate material fatigue, in uniform removed and very fine condition.
