Germany, Wehrmacht. A General Assault Badge, Hollow Version certificate_of_authenticity this is likely a late-war(Allgemeines Sturmabzeichen). Constructed of stamped silvered tombac, with an oak leaf border and a pair of acorns at the base, with a large Wehrmacht style eagle with folded wings clutching a mobile swastika, and a crossed bayonet and stick grenade in the centre, the reverse plain with a vertical needle style pin, sheet metal hinge, and a round wire catch, measuring 42. 14 mm (w) x 53. 02 mm (h), weighing 16. 7 grams, and in very fine condition.
