Constructed of gilded zink, the obverse consisting of an oval laurel and oak leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, topped by a Wehrmacht eagle clutching a mobile swastika, overlaid by a central U Boat, the reverse with a barrel hinge and banjo style pinback, unmarked, measuring 48. 18 mm (w) x 38. 74 mm (h), weighing 20. 3 grams, minor loss of gilt is evident and the catch is missing, in overall very fine
