A bit of loss to the wood along the front bottom edge of this miniature dome lid painted chest

Clark '99 at lower left corner--which makes me especially happy as it thus feels a bit of a metaphor

with a few light stains and mild edge toning

Nothing I love more that an early naive American drawing of a architectural structure like this, surely done on the page of an antique school ledger, early 19th c. I believe.
