S. WWII Hand Crank Air Raid Siren. It is maker marked on the reverse: FEDERAL ELECTRIC COMPANY, INC CHICAGO Constructed predominately of aluminum with integral one piece carry handle and crank handle. These were originally painted OD green, and this example still retains most of that paint with some loss in specific places. The mesh surrounding the vent holes is still
