Stonebird, Teku Teku, UK Galicia Artisan Vignerons de NáoussaThe name Stonebird refers to the Hoopoe bird which winemaker Gavin Patterson grew up watching in the vineyards of Zimbabwe and South Africa where he grew up and first started making wine. The first few vintages of Stonebird were made in South Africa, mainly with fruit from Hemel en Aarde. The currents of life however brought him to England and to Shropshire where he works as winemaker for a local producer. Gavin is carrying on with his Stonebird side
