Set of 8 French c. 1900 Microscope Slides with Insect Specimens pocket toy painted in 1910 and mailed

painted in 1910 and mailed from Beach Lake (Pennsylvania I believe) to Brooklyn

which based on some research I believe dates to the 1860s or so

with almost no loss of paint or paper on the frames

it could be easily repaired with a tiny bit of glue if desired

Silkworm and foot of a caterpillar happily need no translation, and then there appears to be the scale of a sole (fish I assume) and mouth of a ?, and something human! (perhaps your deciphering skills will be better than mine!) All of the specimens are visible
