Here we have a very nice British Victorian Cut Down Cavalry lance, as used by many famous "Lancer" regiments during the 19th century. Originally much longer, it now measures 45 3 4" long, with a 8 1 2" hollow ground spear blade. This is connected to a socket which has 21 inch long langets going down the haft of the spear, which now measures 35 inches long. The socket is marked with ENFIELD and a British BROAD ARROW
