This is an excellent all original example of a late war German Model 42 Steel helmet. This stamped sheet steel construction helmet retains about 75% of its original paint. The left side of the helmet features a Heer eagle decal, which is retained 80%, with some areas chipped out with the paint and wear. This is a very nice example of the M42 helmet.
