Pair of Antique Handcarved Tagua Nut Japanese Netsuke with Many Faces harmonica 2 1 1/2" across atCharming little faces all the way around on these small Japanese netsuge, hand carved of Tagua nut (a palm tree nut), later 19th century I believe. Four faces on the larger, two on the smaller, each wearing a different expression. I love that their forms relate to American peach pit carved baskets too as if they were the inspiration for those.
