Early 20th C. Paper Thin Brass Surveyors/Architects Stencils - Set # Three Bell goggles case I thought about listing these

I thought about listing these carved chains individually

2 1/4" in diameter x 3/8" deep

which were individually cast

Individual flasks measure 6 3/8" t x 1 5/16" in diameter each

I'm not entirely certain of its age but might think 1920-40s

Paper Thin Brass Surveyors/Architects Stencils - Set # Three Bell goggles case I thought about listing theseI find these old brass surveyors architects stencils so beautiful paper thin, finely made, and shining rather like liquid gold in the light. I purchased a lot of them from a seller in England, and have broken them up into smaller thematic groups. These would have been used to annotate blueprints architectural renderings, but as a lover of found language I like them as small, evocative signs of sorts, which could be interesting in all sorts contexts.
