It appears that at one time it was covered entirely in gold paint or gold leaf

though I know that it dates to the mid-20th century or so and came from a group of travel works portraying different scenes in the U

I believe these two are mid-20th century so so

all of which just make it better

I love everything about this boy (look at those lines for bangs), but especially his strangely shaped right hand! And then how the blades of grass around the frog read also ike a burst of electricity as the boy points to it. All while the lonely elephant at upper right wanders away. 5 1 2 x 3 3 8". Very good
