Officially known as CONTAINER, ROUND, INSULATED, M 1941. The M41 mermite container was also used as a blood bank during WW2. This 1942 dated example is nicely maker marked I. C. A. CORP. It does not have inserts, as were used for food, but it is complete with functional; lid can be secured down. The inside tank in lined in what appears to be zinc.
