I know this piece is that it came from the estate of a dentist

1/16" l x 3 1/2" t 1" thick and in excellent vintage condition

With  all-over loosely dabbed brown spots and a two railed base that makes him super sturdy

but with just the right amount of detailing for the seams

Man Carrying Crate, Paris, Alan T. White 1904 Ink and Watercolor Drawing keyholder I know this piece isA note on the back of the wrapper I found this drawing in attributed it to Alan T. White of Winchendon, MA and noted that is was done in Paris in 1904; I haven't been able to find out much of anything about him, but that's what I know. I just fell in love with the drawing itself a perfect combination of exactly the sort of thing one might observe on the streets of Paris and a wonderfully concise, rather existential portrait of life's burdens. 9" x 6 1
