she stands steady and I think remains quite a charmer

and light wear to the handles of the bag

including the English translation of Hesse's introduction and reproduction of all pages

1911 Tramp Art Box with Chip Carved Stacks and Green-Gray Velvet sewer tile In the photoI typically go for old tramp art boxes completely covered with chip carved layers, but I really like the velvet on the exterior of this one, which appears to be a soft gray green on a few of the sides and more of a gray blue elsewhere, but I think it is probably all the same fabric which just sun faded in different ways, very much to the good in my opinion. I think it all makes for a nice combination of Victorian and folky, but with nice clean lines
