This Mickey on bright yellow tractor is a happy merger of the two

which I believe dates from the mid 20th century

I think the shape is just perfect

Hand thrown and signed simply with a Q (definitely not that Q) on the underside. 4 5 8" in diameter x 3" tall and in very good vintage condition, with irregularities native to form and glaze, all to the good I think, but no flaws at all that I can see.
