I found this at the estate sale of an artist and longtime art professor in Worchester

which I think make it feel all the more true Art Nouveau

Mixed Media Painting on Paper of Cozy Houses in Hilly Landscape handdrawn postcard but the booklet is holdingI pulled this one out of a deep pile of old letters and clippings and assorted odds and ends, and really loved its combination of looseness and specificity, especially love the little white houses with red chimneys nestled cozily amid rolling hills. Clearly a specific place with the directional key at upper left, and definitely with some age, executed on paper in what I think is a combination of oil paint maybe gouache too, I'm not entirely sure. 10 7
