Original Japanese WWII Mitsubishi A6M Zero Aluminum Fuselage Piece MG 13 On 4 September 1944Original Item: One of a kind. This is a rare piece of World War Two history. This is a section that was cut away from a Japanese ZERO aircraft as a war trophy souvenir by a U. S. Navy Sailor. The aluminum section is painted red on the exterior and measures approximately 8" x 6". The red paint indicates that it was cut from one of the "meatball" insignia on the body or wing of the aircraft. It bears numerous rivet holes and the interior is marked SDR
