and I like them even better

It is well rusted

This one belonged James Gifford and dates to 1804

Old Brass Weathervane Pointing Arrow old drawing Photos capture the coloration wellI assume this wonderful aerodynamic looking brass arrow was the topper on a weathervane; it looks 1940s or so to me, with the center portion reminding me of the profile of a streamlined car or rocket ship! With a great patina, I'd just hang it from a little nail or two on the wall, perhaps pointing down the hallway, or toward the coffee pot! 15 1 8" l x 2 3 4" t x 1 16" thick. Plenty of light scratching and some dark spots, all to the good I think.
