I could spend way too many hours opening old schoolbooks in search of drawings and have to stop myself

I believe this wonderful old carved and painted heavy wood puppet head

and great aging to the paint

This is an old Mexican folk pottery bowl, likely from Oaxaca, though if it weren't stamped MEX on the underside I might almost think it was Persian. Nothing better than that yellow and green, just radiant. 6 1 2" d x 2 1 4" t and good condition. Crazing to the creamy white as evident and some irregularity to the form, all to the good I think. No notable chips, cracks or other issues.
