he certainly looks quite the poetic figure

3 3/4" across at base and 5 1/2" across from edge to edge of lip (vase opening measures 3 1/4" inside from of the glass lip

This is a lovely old ladle or dipper made in two parts

George Washington, Presumed Antique Chromolithograph with Over Glazing bag of jacks missing pages 304-305I believe this is a chromolithograph that was given a painterly varnish or similar, lending it the appearance of a painting, and making this George Washington seem as if he's been hanging around for a very long time. (I do think this is at least a hundred years old.)
