This is a very nice example of a Remington New Model Army Percussion Revolver, with a lovely worn patina from age and use. It also has wood fill repairs to the inside of both grip scales, which were inlet in the bottom to allow a lanyard to be passed around the bottom of the grip frame, a period alteration we have seen before.
