The pommel of this dagger is in good condition, showing wear through the plating in many areas, so the zinc base metal is visible. It has a nice aged patina throughout, and the standing oak leaves and acorns are crisply detailed and have good backgrounds. The plated crossguard has fared better, and is in very good
