Originally a mill, but remodelled as a distillery in 1878, Glen Spey sits in the center of the village of Rothes next door to the Glenrothes Distillery and across the road from Forsyth's the famous whisky still manufacturers. Glen Spey's production has a characteristic lightness from the purifiers fitted to the spirit stills which return vapours back for further distillation. After 10 years
