The whole piece is oxidized in liver of sulphur

Each is paired with a raw rose-cut ruby

and the leaf has been blackened and partially sanded to create an ombré effect

Feather Pendant in Sterling Silver Silver with Black Opal ocean Made from lightweight copperA lovely and detailed 3 dimensional feather pendant. Created by pressing fine silver sheet against a steel die in a hydraulic press. The feather is then sawed out, sanded, & soldered to a 20 gauge sterling silver sheet. Repeating the same process, the back sheet has been adorned with a tiny 3mm cultured black opal. Hangs from an 18" oxidized sterling silver beaded chain and finished with a lobster clasp closure. Made to order.
