This is a late 1950s era United States Navy USN Helicopter Flight Helmet type APH 5 Helmet manufactured by MSA (Mine Safety Appliances). It has the correct early type thick roam rubber edge roll, and the base color is white, now painted over with U. S. Navy gold. It still has the internal padding, however there are no avionics installed. It also does not have a retractable visor installed, and we do not know if it is
