I'm always delighted by the humor of those Brits in the early 1800s this Georgian snuff box immediately made me think of a Sunderland transferware chamber pot I once had of the same period, with witty verse of the toilet humor variety and a frog inside, waiting with open mouth! This snuff box feels more carnivalesque, as if a window offering a view of a boy uncomfortably trapped inside the box! A rare one, and a great one, which also
