where it might become something of an icon

and a bit elusive too--I am not entirely certain whether done in pastels with some sort of fixative over them or finely spatter painted

Blue and Gold Antique Finely Woven Paper Cross Dorman hardware storage and which seem to reflectI'd never seen a woven paper cross until this summer, when I found one in Pennsylvania, and now, here, another, in just the right cobalt blue and gold, making me think of Giotto's Assisi frescoes! Beautifully done, with those wonderful thorn like flags at the end of each thin strip of paper. Lovely. 3 1 2" x 2 7 8". Very good condition on both sides.
