I placed it in this lovely little antique tramp art frame

which would have been a fairly serious bet when it was written

and the thickly laid paint that makes it quite visceral—you can just feel the scraping of the palette knife on the creamy white roofs of the house/barn

ACT UP (AIDS Coalition to Unleash Power) combined the pink triangle with Silence=Death to draw attention to the the disproportionate impact of AIDS on gay and bisexual men

The driver's seat and steering wheel are long gone (and perhaps a driver too), but I really like the lines of it as it stands and rolls now. German or American, I'm not entirely sure, c. early 20th century. 7 5 8" x 2 7 8" x 2 3 4" t. No seat or steering wheel as evident. As is, great color, great surface,
