is one of my very favorite recent finds

I suppose it is possible that these were all part of one continuous chain which at some point broke into parts

so I am not 100% certain

and all lovingly bordered with flowers and leaves and birds and flourishes and "forget me nots"

These are a bit rarer from what I can tell, c. 1920s 40s I believe, with each of the eggs but for the largest one hand decorated, I would guess while they were spinning around on a lathe. This set yields five complete eggs, which hold together snugly, and then there are four more unmatched halves that fit neatly
