Here we have a very nice British Double Barrel percussion shotgun, in what looks to be 12 bore, a very popular size then. It is fitted with a 34" double barrels and measures 50" in overall length. There is simple line engraving on both locks and most of the metalwork. Both locks are marked MORTIMER, a legendary name in British firearms. H. W. Mortimer was a top quality maker, mostly Serving King George III. He was
