This is a lovely Double Barrel 12 gauge Hammer Shotgun marketed as The Universal, which is marked on the right side plate as well as the center strap of the barrel section. While sold in the U. S., like many presentation grade guns, this shotgun was actually made overseas, in the Belgian city of Lige, as indicated by the E L G in an oval
