Crazy Giant Vintage Wooden Hand-carved Car golden madonna who founded his aluminum businessA crazy thing, found in Concord, NH this carved wooden car is over two feet long. (Forgive the crummy photos, this was way too big to fit in the light box!) I don't know much about cars but believe this was modeled on a Nascar type race car (maybe a Ford Mustang?) and I'd guess dates to the 1980s or so. I like it for feeling quite absurd, and also for its maker having clearly been much committed to their vision, with quite a lot of love and care
