Il Lebbio, Vernaccia di San Gimignano, Tuscany, Italy low sulphites deep forestsIl Lebbio is the Niccolini family's estate of vineyards and olive groves on the outskirts of the medieval Tuscan town of San Gimignano which is also known as the Manhattan of Tuscany or the town of one hundred towers. The name comes from a wild plant that grows freely in the region and especially so in between the vines. Rich and round with notes of apricot, pear and jasmine. Will go great with Mediterranean cuisine based on extra virgin olive oil
