but  this basket is in really excellent condition and quite a special piece

Ghostly, with Broom in Hand, Striking Antique Occupational Portrait Cabinet Card riverboat metal chains glued to skyI'm a bit obsessed with this cabinet card, which is richer and more striking in person. I guess it is dappled sunlight that is making these two men appear rather ghostly, or haunted; glowing, really but it almost seems as though the photo was shot through glass, and perhaps with some streaks and maybe a finger print on it too. Im not sure, but there is a definite sort of mystery and otherworldliness about it. I presume an occupational photo, with
