I think it is quite an exquisite little thing

each side measures 2 7/8" and the carved area measure 3 7/8" wide on the angle

I don't know that this has a ton of age to it

counterpointed wit a perfect twist of tartness

and would also fit right in hanging among the Christmas stockings

I bought it for the page of leaf drawings with labels alone, shown in first photos, which to my eye is just right but there are delights sprinkled throughout, and the watercolored sweet pea on the cover is pretty great too (as is a page with a pair of pansies, one of them watercolored blue and pale yellow, too.) 8 1 4" x 7 1 8". 12 pages total plus cover. 15
