This is a stellar embossed copper powder flask manufactured by the American Flask & Cap Company, which was a short lived manufacturing company that only produced flasks from 1857 until its dissolution in 1865. This example has a very nice fluted design and is a smaller piece. The flask is marked on the cap AM. FLASK & CAP CO.. The pouring cap has the desired powder amounts stamped on to allow for proper pour rates.
