Two Fisherman at Waterfall, Earlier 19th Century Small Mounted Oil on Linen Painting (Presumed Fragment) Burmese lacquer box "Tales from the Igloo" inI'd guess this painting, found in Central MA, is a fragment salvaged from a once larger painting, but I don't know for certain; at some point, long after it was painted (oil on linen), someone mounted it to a piece of hardboard. It's an early one, earlier than later 19th century I believe, and as is is all about these two little fisherman perched along the banks of a waterfall. I really love the intimacy of the view, and the force of that flowing
