Early 20th century I believe and nicely aged

so they represent the work of a few different people

and also with those great curves feels a bit Botero-esque to me

they are really one of the best things ever made

and rest nicely in the recessed circle with incised star design at the tip of the plates making these the perfect coffee with treats set

Catherineholm, Norway Mid-Century Cobalt Blue Lotus Pattern 8" d Enamelware Bowl Baffin Island Early 20th century I believeI've had a few Catherineholm bowls and can never get good photos of them the reflective enameled surface softens the edges and makes them just sort of glow, so it's a bit hard to see the surface clearly. 8" in diameter and just shy of 3 1 2" t. This one has certainly seen a good amount of use, with overall surface wear and and some fading of the white lotus pattern such that it shows a soft pale blue, which I like. But only very minor enamel loss
