Many of these Rifles were imported by the South in the Civil War and in fact this example is marked with a faint "C

Heavily nickel plated these have 34" very slightly curved blades with fretted basket type guards bearing "King's Crown"

The division went on the defensive until 26 July

Following the basic pattern of the British Type B flight helmet this Australian produced version is constructed of leather with chamois lining and zipper earphone covers. There is an Australian maker label on the interior. The size is approximately 56cm (US 7). Overall condition is good with the only detractor being damage to the zippers on each ear and the chin strap which is hanging by a thread. Also included is a
