There is no significant damage or staining to the outside and minimal mothing marks

The helmet is dated 1969 and is overall good  condition with the liner

In early April the division was reassigned to XVI Corps

though they have been worn mostly smooth and does have chips/cracks present

most likely bored out for use as a shotgun
