If one bulb were to burn out, the entire strand will continue to stay lighted. All strands come with 2 additional silicone dipped bulbs and a fuse for replacement. UL listed for indoor and outdoor use and bulbs are 2. 5" apart. Manufacturer rates these light strands for an average of 1,500 hours of trouble free lighting.
